Happy Birthday Jorgen

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JORGEN!
(His actual birthday is in one week but we celebrated early to be able to have it with family)

We had a fun party at the park yesterday.

Here is our darling birthday boy, Jorgen.
And here is his cake.
He originally wanted a garbage can cake but this was thrown together last minute so I went with his second choice, Cars.
There was face painting. All the older kids painted the younger kids faces. It was so fun.

Shelley, Jorgen, Charolette, Anna, and DaveyChars was so kind to let THREE people paint her face.
I love Grant's concentrated face.
And he did a pretty good job painting a flower on his Mom, Natalie.
Jorgen and Annie.
Lizzie and Madeline.
Nathan and Rachel were the water balloon filler uppers. The two grandmothers, Nana and Tutu.
They are both so gorgeous!
Abby, Madeline, Emily, Nathan, Grant

Crazy faces.
Madeline, Taegan, Jorgen, Nathan, Gloria, Grant and Anna.
Water balloon time.
Elsie enjoyed watching all the action.Nana and Tutu with Charlie and Elsie.
Next we did squirt gun and Shelley had fun squirting everyone.
Especially Dadu!
Jorgen loved all the attention and everyone playing with him and singing happy birthday to him.
He got very spoiled and loved opening all of his presents.
Our family was way too generous and sweet to him.

My grandparents came and brought with them the money bag! I remember the money bag from when I was a kid. Jorgen loved it! He pulled out about $7! Thanks Grandpa and GG.
Hugs for GG.
Thank you to our family for coming and celebrating with Jorgen. We had so much fun and are so glad to be able to spend time with family while we are here in Utah.

Happy Birthday Jorgen!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy Independence Day!
Cute Zander being patriotic.
Me and my blue-eyed babe, Elsie.
I cannot get enough of this boy!Shelley was moving around too much to get any more pictures.

Corey is such a fun uncle...Jorgen was in need of some rough housing.
We watched the fireworks at Eaglewood. My parents have the best view from their home so it was so wonderful and convenient.

The skydivers started off the festivities...so cool.
This one had an American Flag trailing behind him.
My Grandma is gorgeous! Would you believe she is 90!
Kenzie, Me, Grandma and Mom
McKenzie, Corey and their boys, Taegan and ZanderJorgen loved the fireworks! I did not get any pictures of him at first because I was holding him, but he thought they were so fascinating. At first, he kept saying, "Mom, they're going to get me!" We were right underneath them and he really did think they were going to get him. I love the things little kids think and say.

Happy 4th of July!

Welcome Home!

My parents returned from their three year mission in Russia!
I cannot believe how fast time has flown.

Here is our welcome home committee.

Lots and lots of hugs were given!
And some kisses too.

A good group of boys!

Tutu, GG, and Elsie.

The boys all got a ride on the luggage on our way to the car. So funny!

We are all so excited they are home. It has been so fun spending time with them and hearing about their adventures in the mother land.
We love you, Tutu and Dadu!

Road Trip

This is a long overdue post. The following pictures were taken when we moved from California to Utah.

We stopped over in Reno late at night and the manager at the hotel asked if we needed any cribs. So I said yes, do you have two? And he said, you can have three if you want (jokingly). Well, I took him up on it.

Three kids in cribs. So funny!
Don't worry, we don't confine Jorgen to a crib at home.

The next morning, Justin took Jorgen and Shelley swimming.
I stayed up with Elsie so she could nap.Chatting it up at the poolside.

We then got back in the car and drove the rest of the way to Utah.

Shelley loves to wipe her babies bottoms. I should start training her to change Elsie's diaper....that would be helpful. She has good technique! :)
