bumbo fun

there is so much stuff out there you can buy for you baby. some of it is not all that necessary and other stuff is essential. now, i'm sure every mom has her favorite things, items that just make being a mother easier. so far, i have two that have proven far more useful that i ever thought they would be. first item: kiddopotomas rubber bib. i didn't attach a picture of it because if you view any of our previous posts, it's on about half of them. it has been the most useful bib. jorgen is quite a slobbery kid in general and so i go through bibs a lot. i use the rubber bib for eating time and it makes clean up SO easy. just rinse and set aside. no washing, sorting, or folding! love it! second item: the bumbo seat. when i first had this, is was useful when i'd sit him in it to feed him or when i was busy and needed him to stay put. i think we got the most use out of it in the early days in hawaii with the whole bennett crew. many of the grandkids used it, for intended purposes or not. well, jorgen hasn't fit in it for awhile (chubby chubby legs:D) but he uses it now even more than he did when he fit in it. he uses it as his play base station...one of them at least. that little bumbo acts as so many things: a shelter for his toys, a well to drop things in, a little mountain to climb over, an oversized and awkward shaped ball (he tries to roll it), and also a place where he often gets stuck. the basket also got involved in this incident. i think it is such a funny picture.
