justin finished finals yesterday and is technically graduated! yippee! we have a lot more schooling ahead of us, but it's nice that the undergrad work is finished. to celebrate, he took the day off so we decided to go on a hike in the early evening. one of our neighbors told us about the heugh's canyon hike, which is literally right in our backyard, and said it goes to a waterfall. i've been wanting to do this hike for awhile and today seemed like the perfect day. justin was a trooper and carried all 22 pounds of jorgen in the baby bjorn the whole way. it was such a pretty hike! a lot of little yellow flowers, that smelled so wonderful, lined the majority of the trail. i love hikes so much!

justin exlpored the area while i fed jorgen...there was the coolest little camping spot right off of the trail, we might come back to it later on and camp...so fun.
when the sun tucked behind the clouds, it got a little chilly. good thing we brought a light blanket for jorgen...he loved every minute of the hike, singing, squawking, and talking the whole time.

what a trooper Justin is, I would have pooped out if I had to carry our Heffalump. Jorgen looks like he had the best time of all!! What a great fam activity
I agreee with Shanda, my favorite is where he's wrapped up in the blanket! So hilariously cute! He's getting HUGE!!
