Kuala Lumpur Skyline
Yes, you heard it right! We are moving to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the summer. Justin is taking an internship there where he'll be working for Laureate Education Inc.. We are really excited! As crazy as it sounds to move the family to a strange, foreign country for the summer, it feels right and we are looking forward for an adventure! We leave in three weeks and are rushing getting everything in order to leave.Some things that I am excited about:
- Justin gaining experience from and contributing to Laureate Education
- Experiencing a different culture
- That most Malays speak some English - a huge relief
- Taking the kids on fun day trips
- Going to a branch for church
- Going to open markets and eating yummy seafood
- Possibly making our way over to Russia at some point to see my parents on their mission
- Having a husband that comes home from work and is home! A break from the constant studying!
Some things that I am not so excited about:
- 90 degree weather with 70% humidity
- Flying long, well SUPER long, flights with two young children
- Possibly making one of those same flights home without Justin, we may come home early if Shelley's doctor says she cannot go three months between check ups

WOW!!! That is crazy and exciting!!! I hope you can blog over there so we can see pictures of where you're living!!! Good luck getting ready to go (and on the airplane...I can't even imagine!) Sounds like an adventure!

My goodness! That's great! I didn't know anything about that place so I looked it up on Wiki. I guess it has the tallest twin buildings in the world. That would be fun to see!
