Ice Skating and Hearts

We went ice skating for a graduate student family ice skating event and it was a blast!
Shelley and Jorgen getting ready to go out on the ice!
Shelley was a bit nervous but Jorgen was excited to do this again (he went for the first time over Thanksgiving in Dallas).
Aren't their little skates adorable!
Shelley had 'fun' but it was very short lived. She only lasted about five minutes on the ice in her skates.
I think she looks so cute and pretty uncomfortable at the same time.
Jorgen was a pro!But both children ended up enjoying being pushed in the stroller until we had to go. It was so fun that they allowed strollers on the ice! What fun!

On a side note: I made this super fun garland today to help celebrate the month of love! We don't have a mantel so it is hanging nicely on our magnetic pipe covering (or whatever it's called :D). Jorgen helped me make it and had the fabulous idea to double up some of the hearts. It was fun crafting with him, especially since he added a very nice touch to it!

I LOVE the Valentines decoration!! So cute! You look sooo gorgeous, Brenley! You should a maternity model because you make pregnancy look good! And I am impressed that you were skating while pregnant...and impressed that Jorgen was a pro! And I always just LOVE Shelley's "How to be a Lady!" posts...they always make me laugh! What a cute girl!

Just caught up on a bunch of your blog! Looks like you guys have been having fun! Your kids are getting so big, and they are both probably better at ice skating than I am! =) I was happy to see a "how to be a lady" post - they always make me smile! It's fun to see what you are up to!
