February so far...

This month has been busy and wonderful. Justin has been working so hard and so much but is learning a lot. I so enjoy being home with my little darlings. We love Texas! We love our home! And we love the friends we have gotten to know. Life is good and we feel so blessed.

Being home with three children four and under is quite exciting. There is never a dull moment and always lots of energy and loads of cuddles.

I walked in on Jorgen dragging Shelley around the family room and kitchen, so I ran and got my camera before they could see me and this is Jorgen's 'caught red-handed' look. Unfortunatley, I did not capture their laughs, smiles, and giggles. These two have so much fun together. They do their fair share of pestering, too.
All three of them in footie pajamas.

wHaT?
It snowed here and the city all but shut down. The roads were so icy and the ice stayed for about three days. We had fun sliding in laundry baskets on our driveway and building ice snow men. We are so glad it warmed up though.

We had our neices over for a sleepover and I couldn't resist taking this cute picture. It is so fun living by family.
Justin took some pictures of the kids one night.
What a bunch!

My projects for the month:

A friend gave us two of her couches. They are in great condition but I wasn't in love with the pattern.
so....

I used fabric/upholstery spray paint to change one of them from floral to black. And the neatest pattern came out. You cannot see it in the pictures really, but there was a slightly raised pattern, kind of like damask, that now shows with the black. A fun surprise. The couch looks so much better, I think.
And the wall looked like this before. And then I spray painted ceiling medallions to make some fun wall art.
Today, with the weather warming up, I was able to plan my herb/onion garden. I had NO idea what I was doing so we'll see if anything grows.
And to finish up this post, some silly faces, from some silly kiddoes!

Holy Schmoly! Black upholstery spray paint, what? I have never even heard of the stuff. Are you sure all of your clothing isn't turning black when you sit on it? Crazy awesome!! Great job!! They have spray paint for everything these days, and it turns out great! Maybe I can find a can that says "cute/stylish home in a can" and just spray my whole house. Even better if I can use my 40% off coupon.
