Every six months our church has General Conference. We were so happy to have to opportunity to fly to Utah and to go to the conference center for all the sessions. It was heavenly being able to listen to the speakers and not be distracted (though we missed our children immensely and we have Matt and Jene' to thank for watching them over the weekend).

The reason we went to Utah for conference instead of watching it at home was because my Dad was speaking for the first time and we wanted to be there in person and with my siblings. It was a wonderful experience. While we were watching in the conference center, our children were watching at Matt and Jene's house and I am so glad Jene' took pictures of it.

Jorgen is such a great listener these days and he especially listened to his Grandpa's talk. He still remembers the stories Grandpa told.

This was my favorite part of his talk, when he was caught off guard when people laughed at part of the story he was telling about drowning in the ocean. I love his smile here.

After the last session, we headed back to my parents' home to eat dinner before Justin and I had to fly back to Dallas. We took a few family photos before we left.

The whole gang, minus Rachel (Jase's wifey- we missed her!!)

What a wonderful experience it was being there with everyone. We were more than anxious to get back to our children and are so grateful for Matt and Jene' for making it possible to go.
