Temperatures have hit all time highs the past two days and our apartment reaches a blazing 90 degrees during the day and into the night (thank heaven for fans that can make 90 degrees seem bearable). Yesterday we decided to make an afternoon trip to the beach to show Gigi the coast and to get away from the heat of our apartment. Justin got off work a little early and we headed to Half Moon Bay. It was so pleasant on the beach and I wish I could take Jorgen (I need to start saying "the kids" because where Jorgen goes, Shelley comes too) there every day - especially when it's this hot - because he loved it so much!

Gigi paid so much attention to Jorgen and he loves her so much! Here they are burying their feet in sand.
If you look closely, you can see Jorgen's hair is covered in sand. He could play in it all day long if we let him!

Who can resist the beach. And you look so good for have a week old baby. Stinker!!! But having lots of fun. I envy a good beach day.

Holy Moly Mama! You dont even look like you just had a baby! You look FANTASTIC! Shelley is adorable. We need to get together soon before Monty goes nuts! Every time I say "Lets go" he says "see Jorgen?" We miss you guys!
Thank you thank you Gigi!! Thank heavens you could escape the heat and go to the beach. Beach and kids, big and small, young and old...no better place. I love the beach and most of all love all of you!
