Found It!

Shelley found her thumb yesterday! I was holding her and she was asleep but I knew she was getting hungry - well, instead of waking up and rooting or crying, her hand just made its way to her mouth and in popped her thumb. It was so funny! Jorgen found his thumb pretty early in life and used it to comfort himself a lot for a couple months and then stopped. We'll see what Shelley does. You can tell she's getting plenty to eat from her mama, take a look at those pop-on wrists! ;)

I love all of your posts, you look great. I'm impressed that you are out and running, especially in that heat;) Jorgen is so so cute, and I STILL haven't held Shelley, we tried calling you yesterday but couldn't get hold of anyone;(. Are you going to that little outing tomorrow??

I love this picture. It's so adorable. Z sucks his thumb now and again but mostly its his index and middle finger. She is so cute.

JUST LIKE HER MOMMY!

i remember the gloves mom and dad taped to your hands. then the appliance - the medieval spiked thing - dad cemented into your mouth. then the nasty nailpolish. what else? can i say you were persistent? insistent?
that is a really cute photo, though! love the thumb sucking!

i forgot about all that stuff - wow - good memory S. i think Bren looked just as cute as Shelley does sucking her thumb - like mother like daughter! As i remember i think this makes it three generations - i did too!

I guess she comes by it naturally. From Shelley's comment I can see it is a generational thing and I also was a master thumb-sucker. We have old home movies of me poking in my thumb and my Dad taking it out as fast as he could and me putting it right back in!! She is a doll and so is her Mother!
