Jackson Hole

Our first stop on the Hansen family vacation was Jackson Hole, Wyoming. We spent two days there and it was so much fun! We arrived in the late afternoon and walked around and looked at the different shops. We saw a cowboy shootout while in the center of town and Jorgen (along with some of the other cousins) didn't really enjoy the loud bangs from the guns-it actually really scared him. They sure left an impression on him though because all he could talk about for a few days were the 'cowboys go BANG!!!'. There was some fun music afterwards and Justin and Melissa danced around with Annie and Jorgen. The next morning, most of the gang got up early to go on a river trip so Rachel and I stayed back with our kids (and Natalie's). Jorgen had fun showing Nate his cool sleeping arrangements - thank you, Kenz, for letting us use the toddler tent;)! We then took the kids on a long walk and went to toddler time at the library. They had fun doing the nature scavenger hunt and listening to stories. We went on the Alpine slides courtesy of Matt and Jene (thank you sooo much!!!) and Jorgen had a blast going down the slide! Later that night we went to a chuckwagon dinner that had food and entertainment. The kids loved it! It was a great couple of days!
