Another Week Gone

One of the days this week I took the kids to the KLCC park. They love the water place and I finally brought my camera. Something funny about this water area is that they do not allow diapers! The first time I brought Shelley, they made me take her diaper off, she was free to pee in all that water! SO the next time she had her suit on and I just had to take a picture of her little bum! It looks so cute without a diaper on!

This is the lovely view from the water area.
Can you see Jorgen?
Shelley gets stuck a lot!

Jorgen loves the waterfall!
My merman just relaxing in the cool water.
Jorgen usually loves walking through the waterfall but this is the closest he would get this time.
This is the closest I would let Shelley get. If it weren't for her contacts, I think she would be swimming laps around the pool by now. She loves the water!
This picture is so funny! Whitey-boy Jorgen screaming and running through a crowd of brown Asians.

The other day, Shelley brought me Jorgen's closes to put on, ontop of her own. Wow, she could pass for her brother!
I had fun last week cooking new meals. If anyone wants recipes, I would love to share. This post is long enough without including them.

My dad's DELICOUS Thai coconut concoction.
No name yet - maybe Thai Surprise because there's no definite recipe to this one.
This is what Malaysian pudding looks like, guava flavor. I don't know if you can tell, but it's jelly like, but not jell-o. Strange stuff for sure. The flavors are fun though.
I made my sister's tasty butternut squash soup and added some curry to it. I had to make it more ethnic by making some (premade, frozen-have no idea how to actually make these) Indian roti paratha. These things are delicous! The second ingredient is margarine - no wonder they taste good. They are a mix between a tortilla and nan bread. Yummy!
And how could I not include a little twist on American Pizza. This pizza comes from Pizza Hut, it's called Thai Supreme and I so wish they made it back home. It is divine!
Time here is going by too fast! We only have three weekends left here in Malaysia! Really, I cannot believe it. Last weekend was so jam packed, we decided to take it easy this weekend. Justin had to work a few hours as well so we just hung around, swam, and went out to dinner. It was a nice relaxing day. On a typical day, Justin does not get home in time to see the kids before they go to bed. So weekends are their favorite times to play with daddy!
This is the end of "I'm So Glad When Daddy Comes Home." ...Hug him tight like this...
Jorgen's favorite song lately!
Nana and Papa gave Jorgen a remote control helicopter for his birthday. Jorgen thinks it is the neatest thing! We love playing with it and seeing it perform operation kamekaze over and over again.
Shelley loves to watch it but we have to watch her closely, she easily can become a moving target.

We had some friends from the branch over for lunch after church. Daniel and Eric are two of the nicest people! Daniel is from Nigeria and was baptized in KL three years ago. Eric is from Gana and was baptized in KL about one year ago. We talked about their conversion stories and had a great afternoon with them. I think Shelley has a crush on Daniel, she hardly lets anyone hold her but has found favor in two other people so far...Shantelle and Daniel.

We had FHE Sunday and we made some white chocolate covered pretzels with sprinkles on them. Yummy, yummy!

This is one of my favorite pictures, they love playing together.
(But do not be fooled, they also love to pester each other!)
Justin is the FUNNEST dad! Really, I am always so surprised at the games he comes up with. Sunday night, he played Jorgen and Shelley blast off again. They could not get enough of it. All the pillows in this hotel really make this game a hit!

Justin then ran around with Jorgen, and sometimes Shelley, on his back and pretended he was an airplane. Jorgen was laughing so hard, he was hardly breathing. Justin would kick the pool ball around while flying which Jorgen thought was hilarious. Did I mention that this boy of ours is easily amused?

The airplane had several crashes and I think Jorgen almost wet his pants, he was having so much fun!
Oh darling Shelley, you have the cutest cheeks ever! I just want to munch on them!
