July was a great month!
Jorgen, randomly, asked me to take a picture of some of the things we built together, along with his soccer trophy. He's pretty proud of his first trophy! It is so cute!

We love this girl!

Our summer vacation was a trip to Utah!
The first night on the road and both girls fell asleep.

Jorgen, on the other hand, was wide awake and ready for the excitement!

Our second day on the road took us through Albuquerque, NM. We met up for lunch at the park with some old friends, the Salisbury and Wheeler families!
Jorgen, a friend of Ryan's, and Ryan.
Ryan and Jorgen were little buddies at Stanford and it was fun reuniting with them.

Me, Heather, and Cecy, and our babies.
We first went to St. George for Justin's Grandpa's 90th birthday celebration and had a wonderful time. I only took a few pictures from the weekend trip.
Josh and Shelley

I captured the kids catching snails with Nathan. Yes, that pile of 'rocks' is actually snails!
Jorgen and Davey had a slumber party. :)

We went from St. George and met my family for a tour and Mckenzie took some cute pictures of my Mom and Shelley.

We celebrated the Fourth of July at my parents' home.
Jorgen and Taegan think Kinnon is the coolest thing since sliced bread! He is the best cousin t have around! He always entertains them and makes them laugh!
A mixture of cousins

Shanda took this cute picture of my parents.
They are just lovely!

We had a play date with our lovely Stanford bunch. We MISS them!!

The 5-6 year olds, Miriam, Avery, Jorgen, and Kenna

The 3-4 year olds, Sadie, Halle, Claire, and Shelley

The mommies, Christina, Me, Ashlee, and Sarah, with our babies

We had fun visiting with family in Salt Lake.
Shelley, Cyrus, and Jorgen

We left Utah after almost three weeks and went to pick up my cousin's daughter, Jenna. She generously agreed to be my traveling companion back to Texas.

On our way out of town we stopped by my Misson President's home to say hi. It was heavenly! I have missed them so much and seeing them brought back so many wonderful memories.
President and Sister West

We drove an hour to sleep at Shanda's home in Price and left the next day from there for our two day journey.
Thalyn and Shelley sporting matching shirts.

We got home safe and sound to our AC broken! But it got fixed in two days and Jenna was a good sport to suffer the 90 degree home with us. I couldn't have done it without her help!
And look at these cute little toes!

I love checking on the kids at night, especially when I find them in funny sleeping positions.

Jenna, the kids, and I drove to Austin and picked Justin up and then headed to San Antonio for a two day trip (one of the perks with Justin traveling so much is getting free nights at hotels!)
We stayed at an amazing resort that was so kid oriented.
They had a magic show, dinosaur guy, s'mores in an outdoor fire pit, pools, bounce houses, outdoor movies, and lots more. We are heading back with our Texas cousins in three weeks!

We also went to the Alamo and took a boat ride on the River Walk.

A week later was Jorgen birthday. Jorgen and Shelley had a slumber party the night before :).

Our big 5 year old got a hair cut by his mommy.

He got all wrapped up with the streamers that decorated the ceiling and walls.

We went out to dinner at a yummy Mexican restaurant.

Because so many of his friends and cousins were gone, we didn't have a big birthday party for him. To make up for it, we got him what he's been dreaming about since his cousin, Kinnon, left last month.
More Legos!

While Justin was taking the picture, he caught little Shell tasting the cake...with her tongue!

We love our big Jorgen boy! He is such a fun-loving, happy, helpful and energetic little man! He adores Daddy-time and loves to spend any minute he can with his dad. They have a special bond and it makes me so happy. I think all the kids love Daddy-time though (not that they don't love me and mommy-time...they just get that a lot!). They have the best dad!!
