a bump to remember...jorgen 'falls' for lucy

jorgen has a girlfriend;) i really do approve of this little gal. she is a week or two older than jorgen and her name is lucy (love that name). well, we had a little play date yesterday with her and they were having so much fun together. lucy started putting the moves on jorgen first. she kept going up to him and hugging him and putting her head on his shoulder. when jorgen finally caught on that she liked him, he decided to go give her a huge hug! he walked right up to her without reservation and put out his arms and gave her a bear hug. she openly received him and hugged back. they held each other for one second, two seconds, three seconds and then...tip! i think they were enjoying the hug a little too much and forgot about gravity and slowly tipped over. the sad part was that lucy's back was facing the parking lot and she was standing on the curb so they fell even farther down and both hit the asphalt. it was a sad scene. their bold romance quickly vanished and the realization that they are only one year olds came instantly with two very loud cries. lucy luckily didn't have visible bumps or scratches but jorgen was bleeding a bit and now has a bruise and some scratches but he recovered quickly. i didn't take a picture of it then, but we did tonight (more than 24 hours later and it's already almost vanished...look on the upper left side of his forehead for what's left of the mark). it definitely was a bump to remember. i think he'd do it again if he was able to hug her that long again;) it really was so sweet!

Sometimes when we get caught up in the passion of the moment it is hard to pay attention to the little details in life........like falling of a curb! Give the boy a hug from Nana! Miss you all three lots!
