Cinco de Mayo

The Law School here at Stanford is good at putting on fun events for students, faculty, and their families and today they had a Cinco de Mayo celebration. It was great - free food, fun music, pinatas and more.

We all loved the food!

Jorgen had a few swings at the pinata but didn't really enjoy it as much as we thought he would. Maybe because he is used to us saying, "don't hit...!"

He like gathering up the different toys and candies, but his favorite things were these little sticks with the rolled up paper that you release....I don't what they're called but I remember playing with them as a kid.

Shoot! It's Cinco de Mayo today but I started making Chicken Noodle Soup for dinner tonight! Maybe I'll serve it with a side of rice and beans!
