I need some help with a really superficial decision. I've been wanting to cut my hair lately but keep going back and forth on deciding whether or not to actually do it. If I do cut my hair, I want to do something drastic, say, cut off 10-12 inches (I want to donate to Locks of Love). I love my long hair and it took a long time to get it this long but short hair would be so much easier to do (I might actually do my hair:D) and it's just hair and will grow again. I do love my long hair though, it's easy to do if I don't have time to really do it and there are so many options with it.
So here are a few pictures of me with short hair from five years ago and one with my long hair now. Tell me what you think. Now, I may or may not listen to the advice I'm given but I'd love to hear it regardless. So, be honest!!! Thanks for the help:D

i vote leave it long. i chopped mine last fall and then i regretted it. i cut about 12 inches off to donate and then she took a few more to style it. speaking of which, my hair is still wrapped up in a baggie in the glove box of the truck from our trip to seattle... i totally forgot about it... i guess i should send it in!!!
I say CHOP IT OFF :-D. But you already know that and I just cut my hair so ya. But I just love how much easier it is to do with it short and you look good no matter what but you always pulled off short short hair. :D
Hmmmm. Hard decision. Short hair is easier/quicker to do, but you do so many fun things with your long hair too! The plus side to all of this is you look super gorgeous both ways, so you really can't lose!
So I grew my hair out for locks of love and I'm totally glad that I did. Hair grows back. That first picture of you is SOOO INSANELY GORGEOUS by the way! But either way, you are gorgeous! So I'd say go for it! It's only hair and it does grow back! Love you!
I totally love you with short hair but then again, your long is absolutely gorgeous! I guess if you have had it short before, it won't be so dramatic for you;) Either one, can't wait to see it!
You look smokin' hot in the first picture!!! I totally vote short-but I have short hair and know it always grows back. You have naturally curly hair right? Well short hair takes less time to straighten! Good luck making a choice and thanks for the blog-invite!
You know what I think. :)
I am not very decisive. Your long hair is beautiful and having spent a few days with you and the kiddies lately I saw first hand that in some ways long is easier....wash, dry, pony tail, braid, pulled up. Short is fun and cute and with your beautiful smile and gorgeous eyes either length looks great. Sometimes a change is as good as a rest (old time saying). Like you said it is just hair and will grow back if you decide you like it better longer. I cut mine shorter recently...dries faster. I am thinking about growing it out a bit already! So that's all for now! Love you!
Ohhh, it would be a crime to cut that long beautiful hair!
so, i'm leaning towards keeping it long for now - my dad gave me the financial advice and told me that it will be cheaper in the long run with long hair because i hardly ever cut my hair when it's long so that was one of the deciding factors:D
thanks for the comments and advice - i'm sure i'll come back to wanting to cut it again sometime.
Are you kidding me? I am so jealous of your long and luscious locks! ;) It sounds like you plan to keep it long and I second that decision. (however, you're just downright cute no matter how you do your hair).
man that's a tough one. Your short hair makes you look sassy and really brings out your fabulous cheekbones and jawline but your long hair is gorgeous and thick and shiny so hmmm, I'd maybe say short?
I love your long tresses! And you always have TWO choices with long hair, a bun or long. Anyway, Shelley Eliah needs to have the fun of tugging at it!!!!
Love you no matter what! Gram
You should leave it long for now. I have had short hair with little babies and being able to pull it back is essential. I think you will be more comfortable with it long until Shelley is a bit bigger!
Hey, weren't we just talking about how indecisive you are? :)
i wonder if your hair will fall out like mine did? probably not. you are healthy and don't have the H.T. problem. so, you probably won't go bald. but if you loose alot of hair, ew. long hair is gross to loose allover the place.
but, i like your hair long. mine at my bra strap has been lovely. michael does a beautiful job. and that length is perfect. so, maybe don't go drastic, but take a few inches off for the summer.
my opinion shoved at you once again.
