I've been slacking on my post updates. So this post is going to be totally and completely random.
First things first, I officially only have to buy one size of diapers now! And it is not because Shelley wears the same size as Jorgen. Oh no, it is because my boy is POTTY TRAINED!!
YAY for Jorgen!
Go Jorgen go!
I just decided it was time and went for it. He has done wonderfully! He had two accidents the first and second day but after that he only had a #2 incident at church but thanks to some wonderful advice with helping overcome the fear of pooping, he now does everything on the potty! And last night he stayed dry the entire night!
Way to go Jorgen!
I was so dreading strapping down and doing this but it has been so much easier than I thought! It might help just a tiny bit that we were given Thomas and Friends trains from my sister, Shanda, with which to bride Jorgen:). I'm sure we'll have our fair share of accidents to come but for now, he's doing amazingly!
What a boy!!

Jorgen's new found love is Play-doh! He loves playing with it and loves it even more when daddy gets involved (apparently mommy isn't that creative with play-doh!). Justin is so creative with play-doh. He even made a Thomas the tank engine replica that was so neat - Jorgen smooshed it before I got around to taking a picture of it.
Justin taught Jorgen how birds were created with play-doh:) From gathering the leaves to make a nest all the way to the birth of the baby bird (in Jorgen's hand). Maybe Justin should go into claymation?
We had wonderful visitors on Sunday, Grandma Dixie and Grandpa Tom (our sister-in-law, Siena's parents). We love them so much and are so grateful they live close! They really are Jorgen and Shelley's adopted Grandparents.

YAY for Jorgen! Woo hoo! Another milestone - and such a wonderful one for parents!
Justin is just full of surprises - its no surprise though that he is such an awesome Dad!
family is always nice - when we lived in BH you kids had lots of Adoptive Grandparents - i loved it - as did you!
PLay doh was always a great activity to keep the kids occupied for quite a long time. Could be a bit of a mess but when it came to Justin and Miles at least it was a "controlled" mess instead of their other antics. One stage was Justin's "potion" stage when he would mix things together and find innovative places to dump them like behind the couch or on the front step....that usually happened when I was busy taking care of Lissa. Great news on the potty training....such a bright boy!! Now you can have the extra $$$ saved for something else! WAY TO GO JORGEN AND WAY TO GO BRENLEY FOR GOING FOR IT! Tom and Dixie are great and we are very happy they are there for you and I know it is a good thing for them too! Sorry this is so long!
Potty training that seems SO far away - I'm still waiting for the day Darla will realize that sleep is good for you let alone not wearing a diaper. Miss your guts. Erik said you don't live in the Beehive state so the title of your blog doesn't make sense - I told him he doesn't make sense :).
Love ya
Good job Jorgen!!! I can't believe he's that big already!!
Bren,
Only 200 round trip to stay and play with cousins!
You guys are too darn cute now Im really starting to miss you guys! (and for me that is a big thing!!!!!)

Bren,
I have been thinking about potty training Ethan so you need to give me a step by step break down of how you did it. Especially the part about #2. :) His birthday is coming up and I really loved your train cake. How did you do thomas? Ethan is big into trains lately and so I think it would be fun. You can e-mail me all this info. or give me a call.

Yah! Go Jorgen! I love his smiles in all the pictures!! The playdoh creations are awesome! Carolyn also has a big love for playdoh - keeps her occupied for an hour sometimes :)
Way to do on the potty training. That's always a nice one to have crossed of the list! Justin is obviously more advanced that me in the playdough arena. I taught Annie how to make bird nests and eggs but didn't even think about the birds!
