We have had a great week!
Elsie had her first bath!
She definitely likes full baths better than sponge baths!
I love clean babies!
She is such a beauty!
We went to the GSB Alumni Carnival and had such a great time! The GSB sure knows how to throw a party! It was the coolest carnival! They had a fantastic petting zoo, pony rides, balloon artists, caricatures, carnival games, bounce houses, and the most amazing food!
Jorgen and Shelley won little prizes doing the carnival games.
Shelley loved her little horsie bubbles.
The children had cotton candy for the first time!
I think I ate a whole one all by myself, and maybe some of theirs too!
Shelley loved the pony ride!
Jorgen had a blast the whole time but was pretty exhausted by the time he rode the pony. Poor guy looks so tired!
After the girls took naps, we headed over to the BizKids end of year party! We have loved BizKids this year and will be sad to leave all of these wonderful friends after graduation.

The next couple pictures were taken earlier this week.

Shelley has been really into this little Luke Skywalker figurine. She calls him "Lukie" or "Lukie Sky-a-walker". We think it is so funny! She loves riding him on the two motorcycles Tutu and Dadu got Jorgen when we were in Russia. Lukie often accompanies Shelley to lunch and when she plays with other toys. I think it is too early to introduce her to Star Wars but one day she will see how famous her Lukie is! :) May the force be with you, Lady Shells!

Jorg and Shell thought it would be fun to put Elsie in Shelley's baby stroller.
Our little Els hardly fit! She is growing like a weed and we cannot believe she is almost one month old! Time is flying!
Jorgen has been really into Spanish the last couple weeks. He loves counting to ten in Spanish and he is always asking how to say different words in Spanish. We are not sure what brought about this love for learning Spanish but we think it is so cute and fun! He has not see Dora more than a couple times and not recently but he does have a couple friends who speak Spanish so maybe he is wanting to speak Spanish like them. Whatever the reason, we love that he has a desire to learn, whatever language it may be. It is a good thing Justin knows Spanish because I am no help in this department. We think it is especially funny when Jorgen makes up some random word and says, "that is how you say ___ in Spanish." He is a funny kid! We cannot get enough of his sweetness and his love for others. He is such a wonderful brother to his two darling sisters!

Well, with Jorgen's choice of reading material (remember last January) and Shelley's choice of the Malay language it doesn't surprise me that he has moved on to Spanish (Russian will come later). You have such smart little munchkins.

You will definitely miss Stanford and all the extracurricular activities! What a great experience you have had - such friends you have made!

Maybe I could get Benjamin to talk to Jorgen in Spanish. He could use the practice and he loves playing with Jorgen!

Fun pictures....it has been too long since I looked at your blog....I couldn't remember my sign in and password for a moment of two...love all the pics!! Elsie's hair is lighter....any verdict on her eyes yet? That is so fun...Jorgen and Spanish. Justin needs to keep teaching him because Spanish will be as helpful in Texas as in Cali! Very smart little guy!
