Even without naps, everyone had a great time and held up nicely for the car ride homewhen Jorgen promptly fell asleep for a short cat nap
And a day in the sun just wouldn't be complete if I didn't get severely burnt! My family wouldn't expect anything less;) I always think I won't get burnt and then neglect to put on sunscreen everywhere and as a result get fried!

hahaha sorry bren but i have to laugh a little ;-) you did always sunburn the first day we went anywhere warm. Im sorry though, it probably really hurts. did your face get burned or only your shoulders??

Ouch! Sorry about the working husband but I'm glad you still got out! The girls and I can relate. This was the first Labor Day our entire marriage that Rob actually had off!

i must admit you had all the elements - the beach - the ocean - kids having fun - sand on faces (& probably in ears and everywhere else) - sleeping babies in the shade (thumb optional) - and bren burned! the more things change - the more they stay the same! Love you!

Ouch!!! I needed to be there because I nag about suncreen....I have had a few of those burns myself and not fun....sunscreen works!
