The last of the many farm pictures

Towards the end of our fun, farm-filled day we took the golf carts out for one last spin through the walnut orchard. Shelley was down for a nap so we were sad she missed the fun but it was fun spending time with our little Jorgen. He is such a fun, loving, and always entertaining boy!

Newly planted walnut trees (I think they are two years old?).
We watched the sun set as we drove around.Mature walnut trees.
A flock of birds.
Driving sooo fast.Their property ends at a train track and Jorgen thought it was so cool seeing a real train track so close. Later on Justin took him out when a train was passing through and Jorgen thought that was even cooler!
Our little family minus Shelley. It's just not complete without her.
Jorgen being his crazy self.Justin took Jorgen on a ride to the tractors. Jorgen loves John Deere tractors and even has a little Farmer John so this was a special occasion for the two of them. Male bonding time:).
He sure loves his dad!

We also got to shoot some clay pigeons. It was so fun! I only took three shots (sadly, I only hit one of them) and I was so sore! Shot guns are mighty indeed. Taryn is a very sharp shooter! She never missed a shot and hit both of the pigeons when they pulled a double one! Way to go!
I look like a dork:)
Don't mess with the girls!
We all look pretty sweet for holding such deadly weapons!
We ate roasted hot dogs and had s'mores and had such a wonderful night! Taryn's dad and Brendon made a HUGE bonfire (not pictures) that was bigger than anyone I've ever been around. It was so fun!We ended the day with some Wii. Christian taught Jorgen how to bowl.
Trying to get the hang of it himself. It would be fun to own a Wii.
Many thanks to Taryn and Brendon for inviting us to their fabulous farm. It really was such a fun weekend, a much needed getaway!

It does look like you had a fun few days! You look so cute in the pictures (as always) and I love the pictures of Justin and Jorgen (esp.the one where he is giving his daddy a big hug!)

Lots of fun! Jorgen and Justin look great on the tractor and love the one of Jorgen playing wii...he looks so grown up. Bren looks really formidable with that shotgun but too cute to be really threatening!!

Looks like you guys had so much fun. Can I just say I LOVE kiwis - and I've never seen a kiwi tree or even heard of a persimmon.

You should also tell the owners of your complex to change the name to something SF-ish so it doesn't confuse us out of towners thinking that we're closer than we (and by we, I mean Phil) are! =)
