A Few Things

The last few days have been interesting. We moved rooms because we realized that we were originally put on the smoking floor and a neighbor's smoke was coming through our vents and we did not want to spend three months inhaling fumes! I did not know exactly when our new room would be available so we spent almost the entire day in our room!

Over the past few days, every now and again I will catch Jorgen in a thought and I will ask, "Jorgen, what are you doing?" the last two times I have asked him he responded, "I's just thinkin how it'd be fun if my friends were here playin wit me." Poor guy! He really misses his friends. I think the day we waited to move rooms was when I realized that he was not the only one missing his friends! I spent most afternoons back home in the courtyard chatting with fun friends while the kids played. I have had a few adult conversations (outside of webcam with my family-which alone is keeping me sane;D) but not enough to make up for what I had back home! But things will get better. When I keep all of us busy then I find I do not think about what I miss. Plus, this really is such a wonderful experience! The culture here is so fascinating and the kids are having fun doing new things. I look forward to weekends when Justin is home and we can explore this new place.

While waiting around for the call that freed us of our smoke-filled room, I pulled out the bubbles to entertain Jorgs and Shells. They love blowing them out, Shelley does not quite have enough force in her blow to create bubbles but it is darling watching her try.
Jorgen living it up!
This pose was not posed, Justin found him in our bed just relaxing and took the picture (and yes, the tv was on:D).
Today we went and walked around the mall. They have four of these types of little rides on every floor and I let Jorgen and Shelley play on them...but I was too cheap to actually let them fully experience the moving part of the ride...maybe before we go;) And no matter how far away from home we are, there are always little reminders of from where we came.
Outside of the mall there is a big fountain/pond that periodically has fountain shows. As we were leaving the mall, the fountains started going off so we stopped to take a look.
I think this picture is so funny!
They're both totally mezmerized and Jorgen is picking his nose and Shelley is sucking her thumb.
I also wanted to get a picture of the Petronas Twin Towers. Aparently, neither of my kids wanted me to take it...poor kids, poor mama!
And notice our trusty little clock on top of the other building, yes, it is the same one we see from our living room window. I also use it when I am at the park. I never need a watch as long as I am in view of this building. Funny!
They both wanted to get out and walk so we went to the park and played.
This picture shows about a quarter of the park. Really, it is huge. I have never seen so many play structures lumped together in such an orderly fashion.
And out of focus shot taken by Jorgen. Well, I guess it depends on what I wanted him to focus on and what he wanted to focus on. The park is definitely in focus...I guess we know what he was aiming at:).Can you tell in this picture how beet-red Shelley's face is and how wet her hair is? She holds my hand and walks around the whole time and just gets totally red-faced and wet!
This is what Jorgen looks like after he plays. Sweat just drips all over him. While playing and after leaving the park, they both guzzle water down like they are bottomless wells. What cute, sweaty, adorable kids!

Craig and I just enjoyed reading the latest together. We miss all of you. Sounds like the adventure continues. Good thing you moved rooms....just looking at how "wet" the kids are makes us feel hot. It is hard to not miss your friends. Good thing it isn't permanent. We want to talk to you....let's email and decide what will work. Lots of Love from us to all of you!

Tell Jorgen his friends wish he could be here to play too! I caught Haley running toward your house the other day. She said, "Going to Jorgens!" It looks hot there! You all look great! Again, we miss you guys!
