We did it!

We
FINALLY cut off Shelley's beloved mullet!

It is hard to say why we waited so long, but we did. Maybe because we thought she looked more girlie with
some hair, maybe it was because we are a little more white trash than you realize, or maybe it was just because we kept waiting and hoping the front would catch up to the back. Well there is probably a little truth to all of those. To our great joy, she DOES look better without the mullet! We are sure you all knew that would be the case. With our future kids, PLEASE tell us before we let our child's hair get as out of control as Shelley's got. Really, look how long it was! Sad! If she would only just grow some hair in the front! It's a good thing she has such an adorable face.
Quite a bit of hair for her first cut!

We were walking around a nearby shopping area and there was a baby store. In the window we saw this little baby tent. We wanted to buy one before we left the US but the ones we wanted were $50-$90 so we resisted. So this tent is not as posh as the US tents but it serves the same purpose and it was only $7! We need one for when we go on weekend trips here and then also for when we visit my parents in Russia at the end of August. I did not think Malaysia would have baby tents but I am so glad they do, and cheap ones!!! I think the frill on it is hilarious! Suits our little darling quite well.

The excitement of playing in the tent quickly wore off, both kids were trying to push their way out.

Jorgen is such a fly guy!
Justin came home from work and Jorgen wanted to put on his shoes and then his belt. So Justin just dressed him up completely. When Justin put the white shirt and tie on, Jorgen said, "now I can give the bread and water." Smart boy! We were so proud of him. He is already preparing himself by knowing what he needs to wear to pass the Sacrament at church.

This boy loves his daddy!!

Hi! I wish we could come visit you guys, it just a LITTLE too far! Shelley's hair looks cute, like the beginning of a cute bob or something. Tell Jorgen hi from us! (And Shelley!) MISS YA!
