Girls Night

Last night was a blast! Shantelle, her Mom, and I went out to dinner to a fabulous restaurant, Delicious Cafe.
I ordered the Crispy soft shell crab salad and I am salivating just thinking about it right now. It had arame leaves, cilantro, fresh mint leaves, lemon grass, and the yummiest spicy sauce. Wow, I am going to try and make it back there and beg the chef for the recipe.
The decor was so refreshing, so unlike the typical Malaysian style.Don't I blend in well?!?
Something interesting about this part of the world (and like many other parts), they do not serve ice water, or even tepid water, the water was hot! Can you see the steam? Not very refreshing in my opinion but it did help me fell warm and cozy after we ate.

Before girls night out, the kids and I had a very entertaining day.

Shantelle and her girls let us borrow lots of toys and Jorgen is in love with this animal train. We extended it today with a little help from his blanket to fit all of the animals.
Our cute little man!
Shelley is just, well, adorable!
We had a fun time swimming with our friends and then the kids enjoyed a nice bubble bath afterward.
My kids make the funniest faces!
The kids love to dress crazy.
And I have nothing to do with it :)
Our big boy Thomas Jorgen turns three tomorrow and we are off to Singapore for the weekend. Shelley has an eye appointment there and we thought the timing aligned perfectly for Jorgen's birthday in another country. More to come...
