Because Justin is allergic to peanuts we have held off given Jorgen peanuts until now. He'll be two a week from today so we figured it's been a long enough wait. His first experience went well! He loved having toast with peanut butter on it - even going as far as licking off the gooey remains on his fingers. He didn't have any type of reaction so that was comforting to know. I'm not sure he'll get a lot of peanuts in this home but it's nice to know we probably don't have to worry about it.

Yumm.....peanut butter. Since Justin and my brother are allergic I always trained myself and everyone else....never put the peanut butter knife in the jam jar!! Separate knives PLEASE. Cut how he is licking his fingers!

i heard the opposite that you shouldnt hold it back from them because it could create allergies... but then i've heard it could be bad for them period... hmmmm. especially in my autism research back in college. i keep hearing both sides!!!! i'm glad he didnt have a reaction though!
